The reason why Google has become the #1 search engine is clearly because of its simple interface and its ability to produce quality search results. Quality search results save people time when doing Internet research. Quality search results are a product of quality websites. Which means that you have complete control over how you appear in a search engine results page.
There is no magic in what Google is doing, with all do respect.
What you contain in terms of words, be it keywords or key terms, or just the prose that makes up an article, is what a search engine collects and is what a web searcher uses in their search.
Case in point. Try Googling the following: “Boopig Franchise Easy Returns” (keep the quotes so the search is limited to precisely these words and in this order)
If you found this blog post (note: it took 5 days for Google to Index it), it’s because the power of blogging coupled with how Google simply reads the content of the page, allows you to search for terms that are found within the page. In this case, the search term is very specific and unique in that since it means nothing, and is a unique (if not odd) set of terms, it can more easily be found against a trillion other pages.
